Types of Back Pain
- Acute Back Pain: This kind of pain lasts from a few days to a few weeks. Generally, acute lower back pain will resolve quicker with physiotherapy intervention than without.
- Chronic Back Pain: Chronic back pain is any pain that lasts for more than approximately 12 weeks, even after treatment has occurred. Further treatment can sometimes resolve chronic back pain, however there are many cases in which pain continues despite medical treatment.
